Shop Til You Drop :(

Kiara was window-browsing with her eyes widened.....in disgust. "That is literally the ugliest dress I've ever seen," she thought distastefully. So far, she only had a mini bag in her hands and it was just snacks. She decided to sit down and eat them.

"Yeah, this city doesn't have much of a fashion sense." I was leaning against the wall next to her, looking off at the people on the other side of the road. "Long time no see Moonflower."

Kiara turned around in surprise, ready to attack. She saw it was only the guy earlier. She smiled. "Ah, it's only you," she said in relief. It took her a few seconds to fully understand Ace's statement. "It is ugly isn't it?" she grimaced. She turned back to open her snack and added, "Do you call people that whenever you meet them?" she asked.

"Only me? Ouch." I put my hands behind my head. "Nah, I give a different nickname to everyone. Too hard to remember their real names."

Kiara grinned. "Oh, I never told you my name huh?" she said, "Just in case you want to know, I'm Kiara Akiyama." She considered asking her classic question, "Which school do you go to?", but she ignored it. Her job was done.

"Kiara Akiyama... nah too many a's. I'll stick to moonflower. Besides, I think it suits your beauty well."

Kiara laughed. "Wow thanks," she grinned. She got a snack out her bag an handed it to Ace. "Here."

"No thanks, I don't really like junk food." I waved my hand.

"Are you sure?" she asked as she continued eating her snack. She sighed and looked at the windows of the stores. "I was planning to shop a bit but nothing here seems good."

I grinned evilly. "Come with me." I took her wrist.

"Whoa!" she exclaimed, "Where are you taking me?"

"Hold on!" My smile grew. "You'll see soon enough!" By the time I was done, we had reached the outskirts of a very poor, and ruined looking city. We were crouched down outside their gates. "Don't worry, it's not as dangerous as it looks. The city may be in anarchy, but they sell some of the most amazing things... including some dresses that I think would look stunning on you."

Kiara brightened up. "Really?!" Kiara asked excitedly. She looked at the place over. "Huh..what a sad place," she thought. "Well if what you say is true, then they'll be making very good profit today."

"Profit? Well I suppose we could pay, but I normally just steal when I come to this place. Sometimes I think they'll poison the food if I buy it." I put a hand on her head to calm her down. "We should still probably sneak our way through, until we get to the shop. I don't feel like getting mugged today... Even for people like me, it's a dangerous place." That was a reference to my elemental abilities, though I hadn't told her about my abilities.

"Steal?" she asked, surprised. Then she grinned and nodded eagerly. She then secretly formed a gust of air beneath them. Ace wouldn't feel it but whenever he jumped, he would fly. "In case of emergencies," she thought.

"Ready?" I asked. Then without waiting for her answer, I made my way over the gate, and sprinted for cover behind a car with no wheels.

Kiara followed Ace closely. She looked at him with expectation, waiting for the next step.

Normally I'd just use my Bullet Train to get through this place safely, but I had this girl with me, and it's usually not the best thing to bring up on the first date. So instead we bolted over to a run down coffee shop.

Kiara entered in with a smile on the face. Can I have coffee?" she asked Ace, "I'll try not to spill it when we run."

"I wouldn't, but the coffee is in their storeroom." I hopped over the counter, which had a huge crack in it, then walked over to a small door, and kicked it down. "We should hurry though, people outside probably heard that."

Despite her urge to get coffee, she followed Ace. "I wonder if we're almost there," she thought, "I can't wait to see the stores!"

"Alright, the leftover coffee should be down there, so they keep it pretty cold." I leaned over her a little. "If you need a little worming up, just let me know." I joked, then began making my way down a rotting staircase.

Kiara quickly went towards the coffee. She got the cold coffee and took a little sip. "Huh, it's better than I thought," she said in surprise as she went down the stairs.

While she is getting the coffe there is lots of arguing cursing and yelling going outside

"Dammit. We won't be able to go back out the front." I pushed the door back up, then rushed her down the stairs. "We should stay here until it's safe to go back up."
