A flower in distress [closed; ryn-ryn<3]

That day was no different that any other for Sebell, if the additional heat was an exception. Up to that time, he had been following his usual daily routine: the things he had to do after waking up, and then his attempts to leave the school building and go unnoticed. His latest attempt was successful, yet since half of them were all the same way, things didn't change for him; it was always the same boredom, the same things being repeated over and over again.

Yet it was at that time that the shopping district was bustling with life. At first he thought that the majority of people would have been close to the sea or another source of water, but there they were, strolling around leisurely.
Strange... I wonder how they can even stand outside like this, he wondered while his usual frown clouded his face. For the most part, he was capable of understanding people, but not in that case or similar ones.

He eventually sighed and walked over to an ice cream stall. He couldn't think of any better dessert after his quite filling breakfast, and it would also help him cool his body down somewhat; the heat was already getting to him.

Several minutes later, he walked away, holding a disposable cup with two scoops of ice cream in one hand, and an also disposable spoon in the other. But upon looking around, he realised that most of the benches were already occupied, so he wouldn't be able to just sit down and enjoy the ice cream before it melted... Nor did he like walking around while eating.

Now, now... With this, all is set for now. With such thoughts, Sebell was mentally preparing himself to start eating his ice cream. Yup, mentally preparing himself, even though the threat of it melting was a fact. Around all those people, even if they weren't even looking at him, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of nervousness, especially when standing around with food in his hands. Who knows, someone hungry could be passing be; and he couldn't just stand there and make them feel jealousy towards him, or intensify their own feelings of hunger in the best case.

Anyway, he was ready to get started at last. He shoved the spoon into the ice cream, prepared a nicely-sized spoonful and then raised the spoon's end back into the air. However, before he could bring that to his lips...

...He heard an unknown voice nearby, and saw another person standing in front of him. Addressing someone as "beautiful".
...What? No way... It must be some girl around here that he's talking to...
He glanced around in an attempt to confirm his suspicion, only for that to be proven wrong. He couldn't see any pretty girl walking or standing around. Probably the only ones who were standing there were that stranger guy and himself.

In an instant, a feeling of discomfort overtook him. He couldn't even scratch the back of his neck; he was just standing there as though he were frozen, with the ice cream-filled spoon close to his mouth in one hand, and the cup in the other.

"Uhh... And who would you be?"

He eventually frowned, and arched his eyebrow at the other young man before eating that spoonful quickly... Before the other one attempted to do anything to it.

"...Hmph. No need to go overboard, you know? And such a nickname wouldn't be appreciated, sorry.

Sebell was clearly feeling more and more disappointed with the person before him. Their personalities just... didn't really match. It was one of the few times he wished to have someone more serious to talk to, like himself. But of course, none of his wishes would ever come true, so he had nearly stopped believing in them.

"...Anyway. Just... call me Sebell. Again, no nicknames based on that, please."
